Noritake Garden occupies the heritage campus of Noritake Co., one of Japan's most internationally recognized porcelain and ceramics brands, founded in Nagoya in 1904. The campus combines a design museum, a working craft center, preserved original factory buildings (including red-brick kiln structures), and surrounding parkland in a setting that documents the evolution of Japanese industrial ceramics from export-oriented dinnerware to contemporary fine art porcelain.

The museum traces Noritake's design history chronologically, with particularly strong displays of early 20th-century export pieces and mid-century modern designs that influenced global tableware aesthetics. The Craft Center offers hands-on experiences including porcelain painting and glazing.
