Pokémon Center Fukuoka

ポケモンセンターフクオカ

The Kyushu flagship is the only Pokémon Center in southern Japan and carries Kyushu-exclusive merchandise including a dedicated Fukuoka line tied to local cuisine and the city's hometown character connection.

Pokémon Center Fukuoka is the only flagship in southern Japan, and its location inside JR Hakata City's Amu Plaza building — directly attached to Hakata Station — makes it the single easiest Pokémon destination to work into a shinkansen itinerary. The shop is a 90-second elevator ride from the ticket gates.

Kyushu's exclusive merchandise includes Fukuoka-cuisine tie-ins (mentaiko-themed Pikachu, Hakata ramen–style prints) and iconography tied to the broader Kyushu region (Kumamoto's castle town, Kagoshima's Sakurajima). The shop footprint is comparable to Nagoya's, smaller than Osaka, and the visitor volume sits between the two — moderate but not oppressive outside school holidays.

For collectors running a full-Japan Pokémon Center tour, Fukuoka is the southern anchor of the route. Including it turns a Tokyo-Osaka-Kyoto-Nagoya trip into a proper national circuit, and the shinkansen access means the detour costs only two extra hours each way from the Kansai base.

For a full Kyushu Pokémon weekend, add the Sapporo and Sendai centers if you are already planning a northern swing.
