Dover Street Market Ginza is the Comme des Garcons concept store that reimagines department-store retailing as a curatorial art installation, mixing CDG lines with edited external brands across six floors of continuously redesigned spaces.

Dover Street Market Ginza is Rei Kawakubo's concept retail space, and it operates more like a fashion gallery than a conventional store. Each of the six floors houses a mix of Comme des Garcons lines (Play, Homme Plus, Shirt, CDG) alongside edited external brands — Nike, Sacai, Junya Watanabe, and rotating guest designers — all presented within art-directed installations that are redesigned twice yearly during the "tachiagari" resets.

The Ginza location is the most complete of the global DSM outposts, and it regularly receives Tokyo-exclusive product drops and collaborations that do not appear at the London or New York stores. The top-floor Rose Bakery cafe provides a breather between floors. For fashion enthusiasts, DSM Ginza rewards multiple visits because the installations and product mix change continuously — a floor that housed a Nike ACG installation in March may be entirely redesigned with a new Junya Watanabe partnership by June.
